COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update

We Are Taking Extra Precautions for All Clinic Visits.

The hospitals and ICUs in the state of Texas are seeing record numbers of coronavirus hospitalizations. It is our duty to advise best practices to our patients and their families.

This virus is highly contagious and one slight lapse in judgment can result in infection. Additionally, for the next two weeks, we advise self-imposed shelter-in-place as much as possible. If you must leave home for work, obtain food and supplies or attend necessary medical appointments, do so, but we recommend otherwise remaining home. The longer we can delay coronavirus infections, the more likely there will be an effective treatment or vaccine available. Read below a few best practice recommendations:

  • Wear a mask if you’re near anyone not part of your household or are out in public
  • Minimize time indoors with multiple people outside of your household
  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Limit non-essential travel outside your home
